Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 expansion; Aftermath. This new video spotlights the return of the Friendship finishers.

The new video shows off various fighters performing their own friendly finishing move, from Jade bursting open a festive, candy-filled piñata with her staff and Liu Kang disco dancing on an illuminated LED floor, to Sindel toasting with a glass of wine and Jax treating players to a jazz saxophone session, along with plenty of other surprising Friendships for players to discover.

The Friendships will be added on May 26th as part of the content update dubbed Aftermath which will also include Stage Fatalities and the new Dead Pool, Soul Chamber, Kronika’s Keep and RetroKade Stages.

Those who already own the base MK11 game can purchase the Aftermath add-on which which includes the franchise-first story expansion, three new playable characters (Fujin, Sheeva and RoboCop), three character skin packs (incl. three skins each) to be released over time and the “Thanks a Million” Johnny Cage skin for £34.99 / €39.99 (SRP).

If you have yet to dive into NetherRealm’s latest fighter (in case you were waiting for a complete version of the game), you’ll be able to buy Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection which will include the core game, the Kombat Pack and the Aftermath expansion. The complete version will set you back £49.99 / €59.99.

All preorders will receive the Eternal Klash Skin Pack at launch, which will add three new character skin variants: Unbound Rage Scorpion inspired by Mortal Kombat (2011), Son of Arctika Sub-Zero inspired by Mortal Kombat: Deception and Kori Power Frost, a Klassic version of the Lin Kuei warrior.
