Square Enix has announced that you can pre-download Final Fantasy VII remake from today!

The lovely folks over at Square Enix have passed on the message that the Final Fantasy VII remake will be available to pre-download from today. This gives PlayStation 4 players hopefully ample time to get the game installed on their hard-drives ready for its launch next week on April 10.

This of course follows the news last week that PlayStation 4 had limited the download speeds of games from its servers in a bid to take some of the strain off of Internet Service Providers during this isolation period for the COVID-19 bug.

“We know that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many people having to stay at home, some of you may be experiencing extra pressure on your internet bandwidth. We wanted to give all our fans some extra time to download the game,”

Game producer, Yoshinori Kitase.

Along with this announcement is a sparkling new final-trailer for Final Fantasy VII to heighten the appetites of fans who are already waiting with bated breath. So don’t forget to check your purchases later if you’ve already pre-ordered and get downloading – It’s not long now! – SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
