Football’s going home.

Sony has made a last-minute change to the July lineup of free games for PS Plus members, swapping out PES 2019 for the PS4 exclusive Detroit: Become Human.

The change was detailed in the PS Blog but no reason for the change has been given and the last-minute swap hasn’t gone down too well with some members. Apparently, there were more than a few people who were looking forward to trying out the latest PES instalment but aren’t too thrilled or even bothered about the robotic antics of Connor and friends.

It’s worth mentioning that PS Plus members will be getting the Deluxe Edition of Detroit, which includes another Quantic Dream title: Heavy Rain though some parts of the world will be getting Beyond Two Souls instead (you can read the listed countries in the original PS Blog post).

Detroit: Become Human arrives alongside the unchanged inclusion of the arcade raver Horizon Chase Turbo, which released in March this year.
