After a few leaks from the Taiwanese ratings website, it’s official! Ghostbusters The Videogame Remastered is official and it’s coming this year. The PlayStation Europe Youtube channel released the announcement trailer, which you can see below.
Ghostbusters The Videogame was first released in 2009 for Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 and was met with overall positive reception. The events of the game took place two years after the Ghostbusters II movie. It puts players into the shoes of a mute 5th member of the Ghostbusters team and interacts with the original four members.
The remastered version is currently being worked on by Saber Interactive and will be available later this year for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
