World of Tanks: Mercenaries welcomes Italy to the fray and promises a rocket to Mars later this month

The console-exclusive World of Tanks: Mercenaries has brought in a new nation to ramp up the chaos that bit more.

Italy arrived as a new nation this week, offering players the chance to try out the Ariete Progetto, offering an average 226 HP damage output along with 1400 HP of its own.

Players will also see a new tech tree arrive later this month before the return of the game’s real-time-strategy game mode.

Wargaming has also teased a few details that are coming in time for St. Patrick’s Day, with a random loot drop awarded every 10 victories. There are also plans for the game’s April Fool’s Day update, taking players to Mars on a rocket, which sounds about right for the game.
