“You’ll be very happy here.”

The debut game from Spanish outfit Tessera Studios, Intruders: Hide and Seek, is out now and promises a terrifying stay in the forest.

Not too much about the game is given away from the trailer, except that your holiday is apparently interrupted by a reindeer person and two other – presumably charming – home-invaders.

The game touts itself as a psychological thriller as you sneak around the house undetected in hopes of saving your family after they’ve been taken hostage by the burglars and now it’s up to you, a 13-year-old bot named Ben, to save them. We’re not sure but this doesn’t seem like it’s a feel-good family fun kind of burglary ala Home Alone but here’s hoping you get the chance to… well, keep your family alive.

Intruders: Hide and Seek is available now on PS4 before arriving on PC later this year. You can pick it up now for £16.€20.
