Looks like Overcooked 2 is getting a free update to celebrate the Chinese New Year

It was supposed to be ready for January 1 but theyâ€¦ overcooked it,

Team17 has released a new and ridiculously short teaser for a free update coming to Overcooked 2 just in time for the Chinese New Year.

The trailer doesn’t give much away and it’s over before it even has a chance to begin. Though, it seems safe to say that a new level is involved in some way, mostly because we see a fraction of what looks to be a new play area. While the pig chef we get a glimpse of is a nice little nod to 2019 being the Year of the Pig.

Overcook 2’s free update should arrive on February 5 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
