It’s out this week.
Larian Studios has announced that Prison of Shadows, a new campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Game Master mode, is heading to Steam in a free update, this week.
Larian Studios has teamed up with Ulisses Spiele, creators of the Dark Eye tabletop RPG. The Prison of Shadow Game Master campaign brings a comprehensive set of the tools that will allow every Game Master and their party to experience the world of The Dark Eye. Your team will enter a dwarven city in search of a dangerous artifact, fighting off cultists of the Nameless God.
You can check out the trailer below.
Prison of Shadows is aimed at both Dark Eye newcomers and veterans and is designed for a Game Master and three to five players.
Divinity: Original Sin 2’s innovative Game Master Mode bridges the gap between the creativity and improvisation of a tabletop role-playing campaign, and the immersion of a computer RPG. This system was created with a single goal; to empower the Game Master so they can tell great stories and lead up to four players through a world of their own creation.
Prison of Shadows is set to release as a free update for Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition on Steam on November 21. To coincide with the release, Larian will be answering questions from fans while streaming the Prison of Shadows on their Twitch channel on November 21 at 6pm GMT (7pm CET).
