Koch Media and Headup Games have announced that Bridge Constructor Compilation is now available at retail for PS4. This compilation combines the critically acclaimed original game Bridge Constructor along with Constructor Stunts Bridge Constructor Portal which combines the original game mechanics with the well-known puzzle elements of Valve’s Portal.
Here a little summary of each game:
Bridge Constructor lets player become a bridge engineer and architect. By using a bevvy of different materials such as wood, steel cables or concrete pillars, players can create new constructions and test their stability and functionality. Thanks to the laws of physics the game offers inferior creations as well as collapses and sheer chaos! Be careful as you’ll need to keep an eye on your budget. The game offers 64 levels across 6 environments: City, Canyon, Beach, Mountains, Hills, Grotto.
Up next is Bridge Constructor Stunts where it mixes two vastly different roles: stuntman and engineer. Players are required to build imposing ramps and loops in order to the reach the goal of each stage. Once you do, you’ll need to drive through your crazy creation and obtain stars, complete daredevil jumps, flips and spectacular stunts. It takes the previous game’s formula and improves it by making building even easier; for example, simply transform a recently built beam into a road. Furthermore, you can alter your structures without having to build them from scratch.
And finally, a crossover coming out from left field: Bridge Constructor Portal. Set in Portal’s Aperture Science Enrichment Center, it uses the classic Bridge Constructor to allow players to experience a unique puzzle game. Thanks to the familiar Portal gadgets such as portals, propulsion gel, repulsion gel, aerial faith plates, cubes; just to name a few, players will need to solve a handful of puzzles and reach the test chambers unscathed.
