It’s so hot.

Those of you who’ve been looking for some new deets on the Spyro remaster will be happy to hear that developers Toys for Bob offered up some new screenshots of the game and a few tidbits of extra info on the game.

We got some new pics of three areas; the Cloud Spires, Magma Cone, and Sheila’s Alps. It’s not until you see what the game looked like all those years ago that you can see what a task it’s been for the developers to reimagine the game for current-gen consoles – and may very well explain why the developers had to delay the game until November.

Along with the new screenshots, we were told that the game’s soundtrack has been revamped and that Tom Kenny will be delivering the voice work for Spyro. Kenny is best known for doing the voice of Spongebob Squarepants but has a ridiculously long resume of voice acting, he was Squanchy in Rick and Morty, guys – SQUANCHY!

If you’re at Gamescom this year, you’ll be able to play a new chunk of Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Unfortunately, none of us GGS chumps could make it, but let us know if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on it later this year in the comments below!
