Everybody’s Favorite Contortionist is Back
Known for his unusual fighting styles and astounding flexibility, Voldo has been announced as returning to Soul Calibur VI later this year. He is the latest of many fan favorites to be returning to this installment in the franchise, joined by other famous names such as Taki, Ivy, and Yoshimitsu.
Voldo’s backstory includes being the guardian of the infamous “Money Pit”, a cave where an Italian weapons dealer stored his treasure and coin. Being underground for so long caused Voldo to lose his eyesight, but in return, he gained heightened senses and developed his vicious fighting style.
“Voldo remains within The Money Pit, awaiting those foolish enough to try and steal its treasures, only to find themselves ensnared by the terrifying guardian lurking in the shadows.”
Soul Calibur VI, which is published by Bandai Namco, will be released on October 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
