PlayerKnown‘s Battlegrounds.

PUBG Corporation has announced the 20 teams that will go head to head at this years PUBG Global Invitational (PGI 2018), a tournament that sees top teams battling it out in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for the PUBG World Champion title as well as a share of the prize money, totalling $2 million (USD).

Qualifying tournaments have been held worldwide over the last several weeks and 20 of those teams have proved their mettle in this time, earning themselves a place in the finals which will take place from July 25 – 29 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The qualifying PGI 2018 teams will battle it out in both third-person perspective(TPP) and first-person perspective(FPP) matches, with the TPP tournament held on July 25 and 26, and FPP play to take place on July 28 and 29. A $1 million USD prize pool is allocated in each perspective mode tournament and two teams will be crowned as world champions: one for TPP and other one for FPP.
