Don’t lose your Grip in the new ‘Carkour’ mode.
Combat racing game Grip will feature a new car parkour mode, nicknamed ‘Carkour’ that will allow players to jump and climb obstacles and perform aerial stunts over 19 challenging stunt courses.
From the short, sharp, shock of the Easy (Airtime, Speed, Squiggly, Tubes, Upsy Downsy) and Normal (Live Jump, Scoops, Slide) courses to the more demanding Hard (Angles, Endurance, Rainbow Road) and Nightmare (Half Tubes, Loop Gap) runs, there’s something to challenge everyone irrespective of skill level. Carkour Mode is the perfect tonic for those looking to concentrate on fine-tuning their timing, speed, and spatial awareness before heading back into Campaign or multi-player modes.
Developers Caged Element Inc. and publishers Wired Productions Ltd. have also furnished us with a little teaser trailer, showing off some of the crazy jumps and antics needed to stay on course, giving everyone a good idea of the speed and skill involved in conquering some of these challenging maps.
Racers will be able to pick from a roster of 15 armoured cars with differing attributes, some swift and agile, while others are brutish and heavily armoured. Players can also customise each vehicle with an array of varied paint jobs, decals, wheels and other details.
Available currently on Steam Early Access, Grip will be getting a full release later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
