From August 21-25, Blizzard will be back in Cologne, Germany for Gamescom 2018. Held in the absolutely massive Koelnmesse convention centre, Gamescom is Europes biggest gaming trade fair, and I can personally contest to how huge it is.
Blizzard will be hosting a booth in Hall 7 of the Koelnmesse complete with there own stage for hosting some Blizzard-themed activities. Some of the stage events taking place will include the Blizzard dance contest on Thursday, August 23, and the famous Blizzard cosplay contest on Saturday, August 25. As well as events taking place on the stage, Blizzard will, of course, be showcasing its world-famous library of games. These include the likes of Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone, and World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. With the latest World of Warcraft expansion launching the week before, there are sure to be some themed events and playable demos of the new adventure.
And for those collectors out there, as always, merchandise will be available at the Blizzard store located at the event.
