Gotta Go Fast! Sonic Mania Plus Releases This July

Sega announced today that Sonic Mania Plus will release July 17 for both North American and European audiences. Digital pre-orders are available now for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

Sonic Mania Plus continues the hype of Sonic Mania by adding two new playable characters, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, and a new Encore mode for continued adventures. Competition and Time Attack modes will also receive a fresh update to add new capabilities. This physical-edition release will come with an exclusive collectorâ€™s artbook, a reversible SEGA Mega Drive cover, and holographic packaging.

Players who purchased the original digital version of Sonic Mania will be able to download the Encore DLC for Â£3.99. This DLC will upgrade Sonic Mania to Sonic Mania Plus.
