Starting March 11, a new Overwatch Contenders Season begins for all those Overwatch players who wish to have a chance at climbing the ranks to the heady heights of “pro” status.
An expanded season program this year includes more competitors, more regions, and more seasons throughout the 2018 campaign. Competitors will get the opportunity to fight for prize money, bragging rights, and the chance of being noticed by some of the League teams from the Overwatch community.
Also, some of the worlds best Overwatch teams will be competing in the Contenders Europe season, which will feature a total of 12 teams battling it out, with 2017 champions Team Gigantti returning to defend their title. Other well-known appearances will include Bazooka Puppiez and Team Singularity, along with six fresh rosters who earned their spots through the Open Division.
