Each week we’ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.
Here’s what we’ve been playing this week …
John
- Battlefield 4 (XB1) – Dan’s recent One Hour Tour finally persuaded me to give it a go, and it was money very well spent. Great feel to the guns. A surprising variety of approach to levels, and graphics that still look good on my first gen Xbox One.
- Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet (XB1) – My review will be out later this week for SAO, and to be honest it feels like a sloppy Destiny clone. I’m hoping the game gets better but the signs aren’t good so far…
Jay
- Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (PS4) – Gauntlet à Core Battle à Y’Shotla, Cloud Strife and Zidane Tribal à Spam six stages with Ruinga, Stone and Holy à Level up! à Repeat forever…
- Metal Gear Survive (PS4) – More co-op shenanigans with my buddy!
Viki
- Life is Strange: Before the Storm – Farewell (PS4) – Not a whole lot to report since Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth died on me, so I’m gearing up for Life is Strange: Before the Storm – Farewell. Just preparing my tear ducts now…
Stewart
- Rad Rodgers (XB1) – Been playing this rude retro-inspired platformer for review. Nice graphics and some silly humour, but still early days.
- Surviving Mars (PS4) – Space themed city builder set on Mars. A really well thought out builder, although a little slow paced on the easier difficulties. Still playing although it’s taken a little bit of a back seat to other games at the mo.
Sarah
- World of Warcraft (PC) – I’ve taken my warrior out of retirement (she was my main during the last expansion) and dusted her off. I’m currently getting her geared to rejoin the raid team – just need to figure out how to do decent dps as I always tanked with her before.
- Bloodborne (PS4) – Still working my way (slowly) through NG+.
How about you?
