Assassin’s Creed: Origins developer Ubisoft has announced the release date for the first downloadable content (DLC) expansion ‘The Hidden Ones’. This new story-driven content update will be available on all platforms and continues the Origins story albeit a few years in the future.

Taking players four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed: Origins you will now get the chance to clash with an occupying Roman force in a new region of the world, the Sinai. The expansion will now increase the level cap to 45, allowing players to continue to upgrade and customise your character. Players will also have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts and multiple new weapons, as well as two new levels for all your crafted gear.

There will also be some free content available before the release of ‘The Hidden Ones’, which will include ‘Trials of the Gods’ and a new quest, ‘Incoming Threat’. In this quest, players must head-off an incoming incursion and find where it’s coming from. The free content patch will be available for all Assassin’s Creed: Origins players.

The Hidden Ones DLC is available for all season pass owners or can be purchased separately on January 23, 2018.
