And of course there are different editions available
Ahead of its January 19, 2018 release, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is finally available for a PS4 and PC pre-order.
Players will have a choice of three different editions to choose from, with the physical Standard Edition arriving with some delightful postcards for £55, the ‘Prince’s Edition’ comes with a season pass, and a ‘Making Of’ Blu-ray, all wrapped up in a steelbook case – but it’ll set you back £85 on PS4, and £70 on PC.
Finally, there’s the King’s Edition, which comes with a season pass, the ‘Making Of’ blu-ray, a soundtrack of the game on a vinyl record, a 148-page book of the game’s art, and an ‘Evolution of the King’ figure which stands at 20cm tall and plays the game’s theme song, and costs an astonishing £140 on PS4 and £130 for PC.
If none of that is really your thing, you can pre-order a digital copy of just the game for £50 on PC – but, you never know when a singing figure of a child king will come in handy. And Bandai have confirmed that any pre-order of the game will get players a ‘special sword set.’
Finally, if you’re considering getting the Prince’s or King’s Edition for the season pass, Bandai have also confirmed that the two additional pieces of content will be available for stand-alone purchase for £20.
