Telltale Games and Mojan have launched the second season for Minecraft Story Mode. To celebrate this launch, the developer has released a new trailer which can be seen above.
The trailer spotlights the first episode of Season 2, Hero in Residence, which is now available for Mac, PC, PS4, Xbox One and iOS and Android mobile devices. Like previous Telltale titles, a retail version will be available later this year. Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 will also be told through a five-part, narrative-driven, episodic game. Telltale will also introduce a new multiplayer feature called Crowd Play where friends and family can play together.

Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more…complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade — at least until Jesse’s hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama.
