With the release of the second wave in the series, the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game has hit a massive sales reach of 3.5 million packs sold worldwide.
The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTGC) released it’s first wave, Opus I back in October 2016 and just last week released Opus II. Which added new cards and more way to customise decks to create even more deadly plays. Opus III is scheduled for a July 2017 release, with worldwide sales expected to grow even further.
The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Opus Series is based on the previously released Chapter series, which began with the release of  Chapter I in Japan on February 25, 2011, continuing for fifteen chapters until March 2015.
This new edition features improved game balance and card design as well as the addition of new illustrations from recent Final Fantasy titles, as well as localization into six languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
