You may have recalled a little while back that we checked out a small text adventure called The House Abandon. Set at a desk with a retro computer, you’re invited to explore this text-game whilst things happen.
They’re certainly things. Spooky things, Weird things. Possibly strange too.
The influence from the Netflix hit was certainly there in The House Abandon and I’m glad to see that No Code have cracked on with their project, attracting the eyes of Devolver Digital to launch Stories Untold.
(Fun fact: The promo poster below was designed by the same chap that worked on a similar poster for Stranger Things)
Promising four stories, including the original pilot The House Abandon, Stories Untold will hit Steam and GOG on February 27. Based on my experience with the original text adventure, I’m personally quite intrigued with how the final package will turn out.
