As the UEFA Euro 2016 is drawing nearer, Konami has announced their plans for the Official UEFA Euro 2016 Virtual Tournament.
There are plans for three PES League players (one from the EU, LatAM and Rest of World, each) to go to the event taking place on July 6-7th. By winning their Regional Final Event, June 23 for EU and RoW and June 24 for LatAm, players will win travel and accommodation for the finals in Paris France. The finals will take place on the PS4 version of PES 2016.
To narrow down the winners there will be eight players with two-legged knockout competitions based on qualifications from the UEFA EURO 2016 Regional Final Qualification events. The events run for five weeks, starting on May 16th, each lasting a week.
During the qualification stage, the first 100 online division matches of PES 2016 completed on PS3 or PS4 (using a team competing in UEFA Euro 2016) will be eligible to win. A win is worth three points, a draw is worth one point and a loss will neither gain nor lose points.
