Square Enix Collective supports Children Of Zodiarcs’ Kickstarter campaign.
Children of Zodiarcs is a new tactical JRPG inspired by games such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force, and Tactics Ogre. It’s the latest project to be supported by Square Enix Collective as it aims to raise funds to help complete development via Kickstarter.
Children Of Zodiarcs is the brainchild of Montreal-based studio Cardboard Utopia. This studio has an impressive background of development experience as team members have previously worked on Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Warriors, Eternal Darkness; among others.
The game was heavily supported by the Square Enix community when it first appeared on the Collective Feedback platform in 2014, gathering a huge 93% of votes to indicate support for a crowdfunding campaign.
The campaign launched yesterday, and is aiming to raise 50,000$ (CAD). As of this writing, the campaign had reached 35 339$ with 965 backers.
