Critical/ indie darling To the Moon, a game which made a lot of people very emotional, is getting a second installment in the form of Finding Paradise.
The game will be coming out at an as of yet undisclosed time- late 2016 or early 2017. Possibly.
To the Moon was a standalone story in that it featured two scientists traversing through the memories of their dying patient, to redistribute and change those memories so that the patient could artificially fulfill their last wish. Finding Paradise will be similar in this respect, and feature the same scientists.
Finding Paradise also connects to A Bird Story, as the grown-up version of the protagonist from A Bird Story appears.
However, creator Kan Gao has stressed that none of the previous installments need be played in order for one to ”partake in the over-arching plot”.
