Despite having no first party title released over the course of 2015, PlayStation 4 still managed to shift a mammoth 5.7 million units over the holiday period. Alongside this Sony also announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers had increased by 60% over the course of 2015.

As of January 3, 2016 PlayStation 4 has globally sold through an enormous 35.9 million units, and with a massive 2016 lineup it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
