The new expansion for The Witcher 3, ”Blood and Wine”, looks to offer a departure from the browns and greys that typically dominate fantasy worlds as it’s set far away from the Northlands, in the duchy of Touissaint.
Just look at that brilliant blue sky:
It’s so pretty and I’m getting quite emotional.
Blood and Wine should be releasing in the first half of 2016 and should take about 20 hours or so to play. Making it about twice as long as the last expansion.
The adventure will take Geralt to a land ”untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret”.
As someone who’s uninstalled the game to free up space on my drive, I’m not sure how to take this news.
