While giving the gaming community an update on the progress of the upcoming The Following DLC add-on, Techland also announced the revised price for the DLC.
“Over the past weeks Dying Light: The Following has almost reached its final stage: main quests, side quests, new skills, and driving challenges are ready. We now are moving into the polishing period. Looking at it, it’s clear how big the expansion pack has grown – it could be a stand-alone title, but since it would mean a launch delay, we decided against it.”
The Following Add-on price is set at $19.99 / €19.99 / £15.99. As initially announced, the new DLC will be available free of charge for current Season pass holders.
Unfortunately, those who were late to the “Season pass” party, due to the revised pricing for the upcoming add-on, as of December 8th, the Season pass will now cost $29,99 / €29.99 / £23.99. Obivously, this has no impact whatsoever to current Season pass holders. So if you want the all previously released DLC and future add-ons, there’s still time to pick it up for $19.99.
