Free content is beginning to launch for Halo 5 this month, the first part being “The Battle of Shadow and Light,” which includes the Shinobi ninja themed armour, Light Rifle firepower, and Big Team battle maps and modes!
Tons of new items and maps have been added/unlocked in this month’s drop, plus Ultra Rare and Legendary ones. There are now Tundra and Woodland themed skins, a Shove-it assassination, and many more surprises along the way. The best part, however, is the Big Team battle – Halo fans will be able to recognise elements from the first four maps, but this one has been optimised and polished specifically for Guardians.
All four maps are available to play in Customs and matchmaking, and hint at next month’s mega-drop content, only known for now as Forge.
