Welcome back to another edition of the GGS Gamer One Hour Tour series and this time, we sit down with a new entry in a classic series, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse. Yes, this is the fifth entry in the series, and the first time we have seen the Broken Sword series on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Broken Sword 5 came out a year ago on the PC in two parts, but the console release has the full game in one package. Our One Hour Tour takes us from the intro movie for Broken Sword 5 and finishes at the end of what I would call the first Act which is the art museum investigation. So if you have been on the fence for this title, take a look at the video below and see if it might be right for you. Note that I did have a clean copy of the video that I was capturing, but my microphone cut out 10 seconds into recording, so I ended up having to use my Twitch stream archive footage. Apologies in advance if the video is not as clear as it could be.

The GGS Gamer One Hour Tour is a way for us to get an early perspective on new games, or classics, allowing the readers to see the game before we might be able to get a final review up. The videos are normally from the start of the game and run anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour depending on where a natural stop point occurs. If you have any suggestions for a game you want to see in a One Hour Tour, hit us up on Twitter.

This copy of Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse was purchased by the person recording the video on the Xbox One platform.
