If you happen to be in the capital on June 1, then Blizzard’s got a pretty cool event coming up that looks set to rock your MOBA socks off.
Heroes of the Storm, the tactical team brawler that features characters from all three (for now) of Blizzard’s universes, is finally set for a full launch on June 2. As a StarCraft fan, I’ve been having fun with heroes such as the Protoss Dark Templar Zeratul and the Zerg evolution master Abbathur in particular. Despite being a Protoss player, I’ve found Abbathur’s play style really fun! Go check him out if you haven’t yet.
To celebrate the opening of the Nexus, a special party is being thrown in Central London at Old Billingsgate, a stone’s throw from the Tower of London.
Straight from the Heroes of the Storm blog, here’s the lowdown on what to expect:
Experience an evening of interviews with developers from the Heroes team and other guests from the world of gaming, watch a spectacular show, and enjoy the live musical entertainment. There’ll be contests, prizes, and cosplay—and every attendee will take home a unique collectible item, available exclusively at the event.
If you happen to be in the area on the evening (a Monday evening), then it looks set to be a fun evening for fans of the game to enjoy the big moment.
The event will be ticketed, so you’ll need to make sure you pick one up when the sign-up link drops. The tickets are free and should be online later this week on a first-come-first served basis.
