After a delay from its Fall 2014 release date, Battlefield Hardline is set to open the doors to its frantic police vs. criminals action in an open beta on February 3rd through February 8th across multiple platforms. The beta will feature three different maps – Downtown, Dust Bowl and Bank Job. Downtown and Dust Bowl will feature the Hotwire mode of gameplay where criminals look to boost specific cars while the cops will try to repossess said vehicles. Conquest, the 64 player crown jewel of Battlefield Hardline, will be playable on the Dust Bowl map. Bank Job seems to be the unique map mode here, where you compete in the Heist mode of gameplay where a team of criminals will try to steal as much as they can from a bank, while a team of cops will try and thwart their success.

The Battlefield Hardline open beta will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 3rd. While the PC and current generation consoles will serve up to 64 players in Conquest mode, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be limited to 24 players in this mode.
