Steve Papoutsis (General Manager, Visceral Games and Executive Producer, Battlefield Hardline) commented; “While it’s just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay a while. There won’t be a cap on the max progression level so whether you’re busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away.”

It sounds like they are really taking player feedback seriously. Whether this is them learning from the rocky start to Battlefield 4 or just common sense, it’s good to see them taking player input.
