Regardless of what side of the law you’re on, if you’ve been excited to get back into Battlefield: Hardline, well then a taste could be coming your way soon in the form on the open beta.
Whilst the date isn’t confirmed, it has been announced in a blog post that the beta will be open to everyone and available on all formats – PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 and will feature some new gadgets to play with, as well as some new maps and game modes to explore.
Theres a mention of the game mode “Hotwire” which focuses on vehicular mayhem. A cops vs robbers intense car chase may actually tempt be back into the series.
Steve Papoutsis (General Manager, Visceral Games and Executive Producer, Battlefield Hardline) commented; “While it’s just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay a while. There won’t be a cap on the max progression level so whether you’re busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away.â€
“We want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve. We’ll see you on the streets of Battlefield Hardline soon.â€
It sounds like they are really taking player feedback seriously. Whether this is them learning from the rocky start to Battlefield 4 or just common sense, it’s good to see them taking player input.
Keep your eyes on GGS for a date on the beta going live.
