Want to turn back the clock and feel all that wonderful 90s nostalgia again? Well, you’re in luck – The Pokémon Company International has made over their website to herald the release of the Pokémon TCG – XY Evolutions expansion, as the new cards are updated versions of the original 90s cards.

The new expansion restores the old cards to glory, reinventing the old cards for new players. It includes includes more than one hundred cards; twelve new Pokémon-EX, including five Mega Evolution Pokémon, and four new Pokémon BREAK Booster packs. There are also two theme decks: Pikachu Power and Mewtwo Mayhem, which are available at participating stores in the UK now.

“The Pokémon brand launched in the ’90s with the introduction of the first video games and quickly became a global sensation,” said J.C. Smith, director of consumer marketing at The Pokémon Company International. “As we celebrate our 20th year and introduce the Pokémon TCG: XY—Evolutions expansion, this promotional website was an extremely fun project to develop for our fans. They’ll love learning about the Trading Card Game while exploring web design from the decade in which the cards were introduced.”
